There were five of us, and we had a great time. Hamada, the host, was really chill. The rooftop terrace was lovely, and the WiFi was fast, around 20Mbps. Special mention for the radio door opening! 😁👍

A really nice place to spend time in taharka. The house is clean and has a wonderful layout by the Nile. It works for a family or for one person, and the accommodation is nice.

The two stars are for the people who welcomed me. They were genuinely friendly and helpful, the kind of hospitality I associate with Egyptians. The apartment was large, but it looked used and hadn't been cleaned. The beds felt like wooden planks, there was just one towel for three people, and the bathroom is shown in the photos. I was disappointed by the breakfast arrangement too. Booking.com showed a lovely terrace with a view for breakfast, but when we asked, they said it would be served in the apartment. I think that terrace belongs to a different apartment and isn't shared by all guests. We stayed one night, and I don't think I could've managed two.

The shower was fantastic, and the price was good for what you get. But the accommodation was very dirty. Even after I complained and someone came, they only emptied the rotten fish from the fridge, and the bad smell remained. The terrace was unusable because of unsanitary conditions and the chance of getting cut on broken glass. It might have been five stars if the place had been cleaner.
