The staff were helpful, responsive, and friendly the whole time, and the place was clean and comfortable, just as described. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it.

The apartment was quiet, clean, and really comfortable, which matters most to me when I stay somewhere. The beds, kitchen, and bathrooms were all clean, and there’s a dishwasher and washing machine in the unit. The TV is up to date, and the decor and furniture are lovely and current. It’s a bit far from everything, and street dogs are everywhere and bark a lot at night. Still, I definitely recommend it to anyone visiting cairo.

I’m making a formal complaint about the host and Airbnb because of how unfairly this situation was handled and the lack of any reasonable solution. An emergency led me to cancel my booking when the stay was only two days away. I tried to reactivate it very soon afterward, but I never used the accommodation or any services. The host didn’t reply to my refund requests or cooperate. Airbnb only pointed me to its cancellation policy, without proposing another option or taking practical steps. I was left with the full financial loss, through no deliberate fault of my own. What’s especially frustrating is that the host’s silence seems to have closed the case, as though ignoring a guest is acceptable and the guest must carry all the consequences. That leaves the customer vulnerable and weakens the platform’s role as a fair intermediary for both sides. I know of similar cases, including a documented one involving a relative of mine, where the matter was handled flexibly and a refund was given with only a nominal deduction. This makes the inconsistent application of policy hard to understand. This has damaged my confidence in the host’s credibility and in Airbnb’s role in protecting guests during disputes. I want a higher authority to review my complaint, the host held accountable for not responding, and a fair resolution from the platform, such as a partial refund, credit, or appropriate compensation. If Airbnb offers guests no protection when a host ignores requests, I want an official written statement saying so. I’m waiting for a clear, final response that reflects Airbnb’s responsibility to its customers.
