Flamenco Cairo Hotel

We stayed during our September vacation and had a lovely experience. The hotel’s security helped us feel safe, and the location was ideal for getting a feel for Egyptian life. Breakfast had an incredible variety, and we also really enjoyed the hotel restaurant and facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms stayed clean. Check-in and check-out were easy too. We hope we can return in the future. Thank you!

Eslam from reception deserves special thanks. He was friendly, polite, and always willing to go the extra mile to make my stay pleasant. Flamenco Zamalek Hotel was clean throughout, with tidy, comfortable rooms and a perfect location in the heart of Zamalek, close to everything. I highly recommend it for a Cairo visit and will be back on my next trip.

I stayed here again in 2025, twenty years after my first visit, when it was the Golden Tulip. The Nile view from many rooms is magnificent. Some rooms could use renovation, and the lifts don’t reach every floor, so you’ll need to manage stairs. The staff are friendly and efficient, and coffee shops and restaurants are within a five-minute walk.

The front entrance security team and the other staff were very nice, but cleanliness was my biggest issue. The pillows had mold and other dirt on or in them. When I reported it, they first offered to change just the pillowcase. I had to explain again that the mold was inside the pillow before they replaced the whole thing. The mattresses are literally flat. I expected more, and it was disappointing that management didn’t seem to care.
