We spent two nights here, and the staff were consistently polite and eager to help, even with the language barrier. Rania made us a delicious breakfast in the hotel kitchen. It included omelette, bread, olives, cream cheese, jam, and yoghurt. I'm not sure whether there are breakfast choices, since it seemed to be the same each day, but we didn't ask. Rania was approachable and helpful, and the hotel cat would come along while she cooked. She regularly feeds it food customers may not have eaten, which the cat clearly enjoys. Meher was also friendly and pleasant. I can't praise the staff enough. Our spacious room was clean when we arrived and had a balcony overlooking Cairo, a separate bathroom, a small couch, and a TV. Breakfast was included. We brought our own towels just in case, and ended up not needing them, but you may need to ask for towels or other common items since they might not be in the room on arrival. The hotel is in Cairo opposite the bank of Egypt, not too far from Tahrir Square or the River Nile. I'd recommend it.

The hotel owner was there and was very friendly. He told me a lot about the neighborhood. The other staff weren't very fluent in English, but they were sweet and tried to help as much as they could. My room was clean and nice, and I had a good stay in it. The shower heated up quickly. The wall clock had stopped, though, and I couldn't figure out how to turn on the TV. It took about 30-40 minutes to get here from the airport by Uber, and the lack of a prominent sign outside made the hotel hard to find. I'm a solo female traveler from Japan, but felt able to walk around at night. The roads weren't clean and the traffic was chaotic, but I felt safe walking. The hotel is in a very, very old building. You take an old elevator up to the second floor to check in, then the rooms are on the third floor. The elevator felt scary at first, but I got used to it.

The staff were fantastic. The location was perfect, and the rooms felt brand new: spacious, clean, and comfortable. Everything worked out perfectly. I'd definitely return and recommend it!
