Jewel Zamalek Hotel

The location is excellent, right by the Nile and near other well-known hotel brands. The rooms are large and well equipped with a fridge, hair dryer, dressing gown, and balcony. There's also a pool, rooftop terrace, and restaurant. I stayed four nights at Jewel Zamalek Hotel Cairo, across different rooms, and had a very good experience overall. I want to thank the night-shift receptionist and bellman, along with Rana and Shimaa. They were kind and professional, and their hospitality made a real difference. The rooms on the fourth floor weren't as beautiful or updated as the other ones I stayed in, though that's my one small comment. The hotel's overall quality is still very good. I've also stayed at Jewel Sharm El Sheikh and am very happy with the brand's consistent comfort and service. I'd recommend Jewel Zamalek for its spacious rooms, location, and warm Egyptian hospitality.

The room was small and unclean, with a lot of noise. Children's swimming lessons in the pool ran morning and evening, with loud, annoying screams and shouting from 7 in the morning until evening. A very bad experience.

My check-in experience was terrible. I had the paperwork done in the morning and returned at 2pm, the check-in time, but my room still wasn't ready. Reception took my passport again, made copies again, and asked me to sit down. Five minutes later I checked again and was told the room would be ready in two minutes. It still wasn't, and when I asked again, they said fifteen minutes. Then they asked me to sign more paperwork that they could have given me earlier. It felt like they were just dragging things out. Eventually they took me to the room while housekeeping was still cleaning. The floor was wet, the mirror was broken, the phone didn't work, and the remotes were dirty. The problems kept going.
