Bed bugs and mosquitoes kept me and my neighbor scratching all night. I woke up every 30 minutes, then felt something crawling in my pants. I saw it and caught it. No, it didn’t come with me. I’d stayed at another hotel for five days before this without a single bite. Maybe this problem is new, but it’s there. The mosquitoes were full of blood, which made me worry about disease spreading. I’m also concerned the bed bugs could travel home with you. I caught an adult female and hope it didn’t lay eggs in my luggage. See the photo of the smashed mosquito and the bed bug I caught.

The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were clean, and reception was always responsive. Raymon, Karim, Mohamed, and Karim were kind, quick to respond, professional, and extremely helpful. I had an excellent stay at the Minerva Hotel and highly recommend it. I’ll definitely return without hesitation. Thanks to the team! France like you

The staff were really nice, and the hotel is in a great spot right on the commercial street. But the room wasn’t very clean and the floor was quite dirty. There were lots of flies and mosquitoes, and I got bitten several times. The shower kept shifting between hot and cold, and the WiFi was very slow.

The room was decent for the price, and housekeeping came every three days. Staff were very helpful, which we appreciated, and breakfast was good. The AC and TV worked fine. WiFi was poor in the room but worked in the lobby. As anywhere in Cairo, it’s noisy all night.

Creepy place, and there were cockroaches in the rooms. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
