Miramar Downtown hotel

The staff were really friendly, breakfast was good, and the location was very convenient. Good value for the price.

It’s an old hotel, and the room was in poor shape. The sheets weren’t clean, with hairs all over between the sheets and blankets. The location is the only good thing.

At 10am today, the 26th, my wife and I came back from breakfast and the receptionist shouted at us, asking who the lady was and accusing me of bringing a foreign woman from the street for prostitution. She is my wife. I’m 60 and have never been humiliated like that. I can’t understand how staff in this hotel chain are allowed to treat customers with such disrespect. We were already stressed and couldn’t sleep because a phone rang for over ten minutes in the room next to ours at 5am. We’ve left the room and ask that you deal with my request as soon as possible and refund any money outstanding. Thanks for your help and cooperation. Please don’t use this hotel, it’s like forty tower.

The staff were quite nice and helpful, though sometimes a few things took a long time. The rooms were okay, but the AC in one was so noisy that even the wall and bed vibrated. There’s also very little natural light in the rooms, so I wouldn’t recommend staying here long term.
