Renaissance Cairo Mirage City Hotel

We’re staying for six nights in December and are loving it. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautiful, and the hotel is very well maintained. Staff are polite and the service is good. Breakfast has lots of choices and is great. The morning manager in the breakfast area deserves special credit for being present, caring, and good at handling all the customers. There’s also a nice Starbucks, and the lounge on the 6th floor has good evening snack options. My only suggestion is to offer some larger plates there, instead of just quarter plates. Everything else is good, and I’d love to visit again.

I spent 14 days here on a business trip. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but breakfast service was a real letdown. Several male waiters often ignored requests for hot drinks. Four times I ordered coffee and it came very late or never arrived. I brought it up with the restaurant managers, but the problem happened again on my last day, even when the manager took my order himself. The coffee never came, and about 15 minutes later he returned to ask what I wanted to drink, having forgotten it. Cutlery was also hard to find. I often had to ask for a fork or small spoon when changing plates, like when I wanted cake or dessert after breakfast. Those requests were often forgotten or took a long time.

We stayed for a week for a wedding and had a wonderful time. Mr Hany Khalaf was courteous and very helpful, and all the hotel staff were professional. The location worked well for us, close to the airport and several popular areas of Cairo. The buffet had a great food selection and friendly service, especially from Mr Tamer. He was a big help when we were dining with our child and baby. Having a Starbucks on site was handy too.

Mr Ahmed at reception gave us a warm welcome and was exceptionally polite, kind, and professional. He explained everything clearly, made sure we were comfortable, and patiently answered all our questions. His customer-focused approach made the stay feel reassuring and pleasant.
