We were traveling in Israel when our whole group, around 150 people, was evacuated by bus to Egypt for safety. After our first night in Taba at the crossing, we took another 10-hour bus ride to Cairo, where our time with Sonesta began. The staff were so friendly and attentive, and everyone was a blessing to our group. I didn’t handle the arrangements myself, but whoever took care of them on the hotel’s side did a great job. Hosting a group that size can’t be easy. They met every need, from meals to electric adapters, and let us use the lobby for over six hours while we waited to leave for the airport. The hotel felt welcoming and helpful, and it was very clean and thoughtfully put together. Our rooms were clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Rita was especially sweet and made sure we felt welcome and had what we needed and wanted. My family can’t thank the Sonesta staff enough. Much love and blessings from Arkansas, USA.

There was plenty of free parking beside the hotel, which made getting there effortless. I was invited to a corporate Iftar and had a fantastic time. The ballroom looked elegant, and the food was excellent, fresh, flavorful, and varied.

Breakfast was varied and delicious, and the staff were cooperative and helpful. Still, the stay fell well short of what I expected from a five-star hotel. The room felt relatively small despite having a king-size bed. The bathroom sink wasn’t clean and had visible scratches, there were no slippers or bathrobes, and the air conditioning blew warm air. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend the hotel.

Rita and Amir from Guest Relations made us feel welcome from the start. They were kind, attentive, quick to handle questions or small issues, and always helped with a smile. Mohammed Mustafa from housekeeping also deserves a mention, he was very kind, professional, and did an excellent job. Our stay at this hotel in Egypt was pleasant. The rooms were clean, and the atmosphere was calm and comfortable, a nice setting to relax on vacation. Thank you for the warm hospitality. We’ll remember the stay and would consider coming back.

Breakfast had lots of options, and our cleaner was very nice and looked after us. The hotel was beautiful and nicely decorated, and our room was exceptionally spacious and clean. We had an amazing stay and would definitely come back. I’d highly recommend it.
