Tahrir Plaza Suites

The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the location made a great base for my time in Cairo. I arrived well before check-in, and although my room wasn’t ready, the reception staff welcomed me warmly and offered complimentary breakfast while I waited. Everyone was friendly and went out of their way to help throughout my stay. Tahrir Plaza Suites was a perfect stay, and I can’t recommend it enough!

The breakfast was the best I’ve had during my time in Egypt, and the hibiscus tea was delicious. Marcelino was so kind and helpful, and the place had a relaxed, friendly feel. The room was spacious and clean, and the aircon worked so well it got cold very quickly. Marcelino warned us that the street facing room might be noisy, but with the shutters down we were fine, and he even offered earplugs. They kept our luggage for a few hours, helped us find a hotel in Luxor, and gave us their number in case we needed anything while we were there. That was such warm Egyptian hospitality. We loved it so much that we booked another night before heading back to London. Stay here just for the breakfast!

The location made getting around easy, just steps from the Egyptian Museum, bus station, and downtown, with Cairo’s main sights only minutes away by transport. Marcelino welcomed me warmly, explained everything, and helped organize my full five-day Cairo stay from the first day, when I arrived well before check-in. He arranged a room so I could freshen up, and the luggage service before check-in and after checkout was excellent. My room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and always clean, with clear attention to detail. Breakfast had a tasty oriental option, and Marcelino kindly offered both. Housekeeping was quick and thorough, and the whole team was friendly and attentive. The hotel offers double or triple the quality for the price, and the personal service from Marcelino and the team made the stay exceed my expectations. Nothing negative to mention.

Marcelino really made our stay. He went above and beyond, from suggesting good restaurants and arranging food when we couldn't get out, to helping us deal with a scammer from another hotel. That kind of hospitality is rare. The rooms, location, and service at Tahrir Plaza Suites were all great, and we had no room issues at all.
