Waldorf Astoria Cairo Heliopolis Hotel

George and the poolside bar staff looked after us so well. The drinks were great, and George kept checking in and making sure we were comfortable. We also enjoyed the managers, especially the three Mohammed’s at Bar Raa and the manager at Ayda from Texas. The Waldorf Astoria Cairo felt modern and luxurious, from the atrium at check-in to the updated, comfortable rooms. The spa, gym, restaurant food, Bar Raa, and outdoor poolside bar were all enjoyable. The restaurant wait staff seemed young and sometimes abrasive, and there was a language barrier. I understand staff may be learning or training, and nothing seriously upset me. I also wish the jacuzzi had been heated, since it was colder than the pool. The hotel is conveniently close to the airport, and I expect service will keep improving with time.

I accidentally left behind a few pairs of shoes and my AirPods, and the staff found everything and kept it safe until I got it back. That honesty and care really stood out. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the service throughout my Waldorf Astoria stay was top tier, making it feel relaxing and luxurious. Thanks to Sama, Amr Nabil, Mahmoud Ali, and Gamer We for going above and beyond. A memorable 10/10 stay, and I’d definitely return.

Aida restaurant was a favorite, especially breakfast, and there were also nice cafes and plenty of snacks. The hotel connects directly inside to the Hilton next door, which has a 24/7 bank and ATM/exchange service. Mohammed Imara, the Front Office Manager, took great care of us throughout, and Mohammed from the concierge team was always helpful with directions, recommendations, and advice. The Waldorf Astoria Cairo Heliopolis is beautiful and luxurious, with spacious, modern, comfortable rooms and spotless cleanliness throughout. The lobby, restaurants, pool, and other facilities are all finished to a high standard. I thought it felt more luxurious than the neighboring Hilton, though both are in the same ownership group. It's close to the airport, and affordable Uber rides make Cairo and New Cairo easy to reach. Excellent service from everyone. Highly recommended, and I hope to stay again.

After a fast-paced tour around Egypt, our two nights at the Waldorf Astoria Cairo Heliopolis gave us a chance to sleep properly and recharge. We stayed in a spacious, beautifully appointed suite and ate only at the hotel's restaurants. Service was efficient and on point, with every request handled promptly, so we felt well looked after. Breakfast had a huge range of choices, especially the fresh juice bar, which I loved. Dinner at the same restaurant was consistently enjoyable. The hotel looks gorgeous, bright with natural light during the day and twinkling beneath the stars at night. A lovely luxurious break in the middle of a busy trip.
