Coral Coast Hotel

Mr. Wael, the hotel manager, made the experience even better with his professionalism and warm hospitality. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The place was beautiful, the view stunning, and everything truly excellent. I had an amazing stay at Coral Coast Hotel, highly recommended!

The bathroom smell was foul and suffocating, and made it genuinely hard to breathe. I had to keep the door shut the whole stay to cope. Several others in my group specifically complained about their bathrooms too. The water heater barely worked, and the shower-head released hardly any water, so it was difficult to shower properly. The first room felt unsafe because the door lock was flimsy and visibly exposed between the frame and wall. Its window faced a yoga studio directly, so I had no privacy and couldn’t get natural light. I asked to move because that room was already unacceptable, but the second was just as poor, with a view split between the yoga studio and a rooftop covered in debris and industrial pipes. I understand room choices may have been limited, but that doesn’t excuse the lack of basic standards. Others in my group paid the same rate and got noticeably more functional, better maintained rooms, which made the inconsistency even more frustrating. Both rooms had very dim lighting. Even with every bulb on, they felt gloomy and depressing. The chair was broken, the linen had holes, and there was hair on the pillowcase after the room was supposedly cleaned. They replaced some things, but I ended up with a duvet cover with a torn zipper. The kettle was black inside and the cup was full of black specks, so I walked back to the first room and replaced them myself. There was no room phone to call reception. The furniture was old and cracked, and finding a toenail trapped under the table glass was revolting and impossible to ignore. Neither room had Wi-Fi, a safe, or a hair dryer. This was one of the most uncomfortable hotel stays I’ve had. Both rooms left me feeling neglected, uncomfortable, and deeply disappointed. You could get much better value for your money elsewhere.

The whole mix of yoga, sound healings, and massages was such a good way to unwind after a long journey across Egypt. I left feeling replenished and vitalized, grateful for the support and gifts ✨ I had two lively, unique massages with different therapists. First was a 120 min be radiant massage with Nati. Every part of my being felt purified through prayer and a sweet, deep release. I left feeling like every cell had been baptized on all dimensions. Today I was called to a special abdominal treatment massage, chi nei Tsang, with Tina. Soft touch and intentional breathing gently moved somatic releases through my body.

The people made this stay feel so welcoming. Ahmed at reception, Baker in the restaurant, and Ahmed who helped with our bags were all lovely. I really enjoyed staying here and will definitely come back.
