We couldn’t get a decent night’s sleep, and management did nothing about it. Guests in the room next to us played loud music by the pool until 3 AM. When we raised it the next morning, the manager just said he hadn’t slept either because of them. Even during the day, he would walk past other noisy guests without responding. Our room had been booked on the second floor because it was the cleanest available. The other rooms we saw had damp damage and bits coming off the walls, and even our room had dirt and rubbish under the beds. Later, we were moved downstairs because a larger group was arriving. Checkout was just as poorly handled. At 8:30 AM the manager knocked and insisted we leave because people were waiting for the room. We hadn’t been told the day before, and being rushed out before the usual 10-11 AM checkout felt unprofessional. There was also a serious privacy problem: while my mom was showering and I’d stepped out briefly to sort out a booking elsewhere, a cleaner tried to unlock and enter our room without permission. It felt like nobody in management cared about keeping the place up or making guests comfortable. The booking changes, disregard for noise and privacy, and the way we were treated made us feel unwelcome and unsafe. I wouldn’t recommend it.
