The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and the AC worked well. The room also smelled pleasant when we first arrived. But the front desk was too far away to reach easily, and there was no drinking water available to buy, which is a basic need in Dahab's heat. The room and bathroom were visibly dirty. There was grime and buildup throughout the bathroom, and the floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a long time. I found insects on the bed twice. This is unacceptable at any price. I came expecting the cleanliness praised in the reviews, but my stay didn't match that at all. Management needs to deep clean and deal with the pests before more guests arrive. The kind staff couldn't make up for those basic standards being missed.

The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Everyone on staff was so kind and welcoming, and they really love animals. I found the rooms comfortable and the prices reasonable. The design and colors are lovely and make the place feel relaxing. It's conveniently close to everything. I really enjoyed my stay and will come back with friends.

I spent about a week at this affordable, fantastic hotel. The front desk man was lovely and spoke English, and check-in and checkout were both smooth. The hotel has a dog and a young kitten, too. Taxis are easy to find right outside, and restaurants and supermarkets are just a 15-second walk away. Mamsha is about five minutes on foot. This part of town is quieter than lighthouse or asala.

My favorite spot was the cozy rooftop terrace, where I met lots of nice people without it ever feeling crowded. It's a down-to-earth place where you're made to feel welcome, not a luxury resort. The rooms are big, clean, and have comfortable beds, with good vibes throughout. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the price makes it a wonderful place to stay in Dahab. I'll definitely come back.
