Golden Lake Marina Hotel

The beach was sandy and clean, though you need a car to get there. It was mostly empty around noon and started filling up in the afternoon. In the rooms, the facilities were below average, the rooms were tiny, and the suites had more decent space. Cleanliness was average, and the breakfast buffet was extremely poor. I stayed three nights and only had breakfast once. It isn’t good value unless all you want is a bed to sleep in.

The view is incredible, and the high ceilings make the rooms feel comfortable. The design and management have a simple, tasteful feel, and the hotel and staff are cheerful. The food quality isn’t premium and the pool is quite small, but it’s still good enough. The location is amazing, close to all the main attractions of Marina and Alamein, old and new. Definitely an experience to make part of a summer routine.

The lobby has modern decor and comfortable seating. When I arrived at the Golden Lake Marina Hotel, the staff were welcoming and attentive, and check-in went smoothly and efficiently. I had an exceptional experience.

Marina 5 is a very good location, with lots of shops, restaurants, and supermarkets nearby. That’s useful since the stay is bed and breakfast. I do wish the hotel had its own beach. They let you use another amazing beach, but getting there isn’t the easiest option for elderly people.
