The food was plentiful, but it was the worst we had during our whole stay in Egypt. What I expected to be a peaceful trip left me wanting to go home. The cruise is at most three stars, nowhere near five. Furniture was in terrible condition, the room smelled musty, and drinks cost far too much, with one can of beer priced at 4 euros. On the first day we asked how payment worked and were told to settle only at the end of the four-day cruise. The next day, a waiter kept pushing us to pay cash directly to him, but reception told us not to do that. He asked again every time he saw us. While we were relaxing in the sun he came demanding payment once more, which was very disturbing. We told him we'd pay at reception, and after that he gave us attitude and seemed upset.

I booked a Nile-view room and the view was perfect. I spent one night there and it was incredibly amazing. A kettle in the room would be a good idea. Lunch wasn't exactly what I ordered from the menu. There was no Espresso, only subsidiary drinks. The drinks menu was a little pricey, with black instant coffee (Nescafe Black) costing 45 EGP. Breakfast cheese and cold cuts weren't good quality. They're not boycotting: the only water I saw was Dasani, the yoghurt was Danone, and the instant coffee was Nescafe.

The floating hotel has a fantastic view of the Nile and also serves as a café and restaurant. The staff are polite and professional, and the food and drinks menu is good, with affordable prices. The part I didn't enjoy was the engine noise and vibration. After a couple of hours there, I get dizzy from it, as happens to me on steam boats.

I stopped for one night on my way from Aswan to Cairo. Eating on the top deck at night, with a breeze off the Nile, made the stay memorable. The place was just okay, though, and both the rooms and their cleanliness could be better. Dinner was okay too.

The upper deck has a nice view of the Nile, and the service was good. I barely slept because the bed was uncomfortable. The food was mediocre, and the hotel felt run-down and poorly maintained. It was overpriced, so I wouldn't recommend it.
