Mövenpick Resort El Quseir

I felt very safe here as a solo traveler, and my spacious room was quiet enough that nothing disturbed my sleep. I visited Mövenpick Resort El Quseir last week and loved how the luxurious property was designed in an authentic Nubian style. The staff were polite, friendly, and attentive. Breakfast had lots of choices and was beautifully presented. The chef's omelettes were delicious, and I especially liked the salads, fresh juices, and tasty bread. The beach is stunning, the sea is great for swimming, and there are plenty of colorful fish and coral. The pool was lovely and heated, and the gym was very good. I also tried the Al Fresco restaurant and enjoyed it. I had a great stay and would definitely recommend the place.

The attention to detail was close to perfect, from the superb room to the many restaurants and delicious food. We had such a good time with the team: Ali on the beach, his colleague from the swimming pool bar, mohammed from the lobby, the pool carer, the room cleaners, and the golf car driver. There were so many activities that we couldn't try them all, and the dive site was fabulous. Probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in.

I've stayed in a lot of places in Egypt, and the staff here are the best I've come across. Faris, Amr, Ali, Mohamed, Ahmed, Mariam and so many others were all great. Many have worked here for years, and everyone is super friendly. The food was always good and has improved over the years. Orangerie is great, and Diver's is a lovely spot for a beer and afternoon snack. The panorama sea view room was nice, though I would've liked a bit more space. Hany cleaned it perfectly and made it look lovely. One of my favourite places in Egypt. I'll come again.

The snorkeling was a highlight for me: visibility and the variety of fish were amazing, and the coral was in good condition. The dive center looked good too, though I only rented a face mask and snorkel, which seemed good value. I didn't expect to enjoy this kind of holiday, but I had a surprisingly good time. The staff were amazing, and the resort layout worked well. Its beautiful beach sits in a small bay, sheltered from some of the wind. I liked most of the food, especially at the orangery and alfresco restaurants. Seagull disappointed me, with very average food despite the beautiful setting. The rooms were of a very high standard and the beds comfortable. Spa prices seemed very expensive, at 80 to 100 euros, and there didn't seem to be many clients. I would've liked a massage, but that price felt excessive.
