El Morgan Hotel

The old-fashioned billiards room, with photos and signatures from 90s-era artists, really adds to the nostalgic feel. The beach is pleasant, the staff are welcoming, and the beach café is very nice. You can sit by the water for a quiet, romantic evening with a drink. Cleanliness is acceptable, and they seem to pay attention to the small cleaning issues. The food, though, is below average. There are several accommodation options: a private villa for up to six people, with a reception area, two bathrooms, and three bedrooms for two people each, plus chalets and hotel rooms. The pool is a little small and gets crowded on busy days, but the beach is fine. It's a nice place to revisit for some 90s nostalgia, especially if you want somewhere quiet about 80m from Cairo.

The water is literally green, the place smells awful, and everything looks frightening. Doors open without keys, and there's no service, signal, or Wi-Fi. It felt disgusting and so uncomfortable and scary. Please stay away.

There are three pools, two large and one small, and a good stretch of sea very close to the rooms. The place itself is calm and nice, but the staff I dealt with were extremely unfriendly and disorganized, and the buffet was terrible. It's not a five-star hotel, but any hotel should have friendly people. In short, a good place with terrible people.

My first impression was that it wasn't clean enough. The bedroom furniture is old, some drawers don't work, and the air conditioning isn't working properly. The Wi-Fi was out too. Hopefully we can still enjoy our stay despite all that.
