Gold's Pyramids Hotel

I arrived at Gold’s Pyramids Hotel expecting the 25 sqm room I'd booked, with a large window facing the Pyramids. Instead, the owner brought us to a cramped room of about 15 sqm. At first he insisted it was the right room, then admitted he'd given our reserved room to someone else. The explanations kept shifting after that. He showed us a dark, humid room that was worse, gave conflicting accounts about air-conditioning problems, and eventually urged us to move to another hotel. His aggressive manner and the constant contradictions left us uncomfortable. We didn't feel safe staying there, so late at night we had to cancel and find somewhere else. The way the booking was handled felt misleading, and I don't consider this hotel trustworthy or transparent with reservations. If reliability and peace of mind matter to you, I'd look elsewhere.

A brand new, very clean hotel in Giza! The staff were especially kind and helpful, and everything else was great too. I'd definitely recommend staying here when visiting Cairo.

As a woman traveling alone, I felt completely safe here, and the location was convenient. The hotel is small, with a reception area and about eight rooms on the first floor, so expect a cozy, intimate place rather than a large property. My room was exceptionally clean, with a spotless bathroom and both hot and cold shower water. I had a direct, stunning view of the pyramids, and Netflix on the TV was a nice extra. Breakfast was enjoyable, and I had a fantastic stay. I'd recommend it.
