For the amount paid, it’s good value. You get an air-conditioned room near the pyramids and the GEM, a comfortable bed with clean sheets, a TV, electric kettle and wardrobe, plus steady Wi-Fi and an average breakfast. My room window didn’t have a pleasant view, though. The staff didn’t act professionally, so you’ll need some patience dealing with them. Check-in took about 15 minutes. We first had to look for someone inside the bazar in the building facing the hotel, then the check-in itself took more time. The TV in our first room was broken, so we moved to another. A staff member turned on the AC with low fan and the temperature at 28'C. We adjusted it ourselves and it worked fine. We also found no water, teabags, tissues, or soap in the room and toilet. Those were minor things, but they left us with a poor impression of how the room had been prepared. We managed to sort them out ourselves. Even with these issues, it was still good value for money.

The living area was cosy and had a beautiful view. Everything was clean, breakfast was delicious and generous, and Ibrahim, Youssif, and the rest of the staff were welcoming and great. I’d definitely recommend it.

It’s a simple hostel, but the location is great and the staff are extremely friendly. At a very cheap price you get a clean room with a private bathroom. The hotel is on the 1st floor, and while the building entrance may put you off, the place itself is very clean. Just know that your room won’t have windows to see the pyramids.

A good budget choice if you want to be near the pyramids in Giza. The hotel is new and the rooms are very clean. Sherif and Moheb at reception were kind and understanding. My room was very quiet, which is hard to find in Cairo, though that’s because its window opens onto the inside of the building. Being on the first floor was a real advantage for me with my bicycle. My only small complaint is a design flaw in the bathroom: bath water leaks all over the place. Still, that was a minor inconvenience compared with my overall impression.
