We ended up staying here at the last minute because my wife got sick nearby, and the owner took great care of us. Whenever I needed something, he’d make a call and it was handled within five minutes. It was a quiet time there, so I got to meet the owner, his family, and his horse. The hotel has amazing views, and the roof is a lovely place for dinner and sunsets. There are horse farms all around, and it’s very quiet if you need a break from Cairo. A great mid-level hotel, especially if you need to stay in the area.

Sunset Guesthouse was a lovely place to spend two days. The rooftop lounge is a great spot for meals and drinks, and you can watch the sunset or sunrise from there. The owner and his family were incredibly kind and welcoming, and provided all the meals we asked for. Our rooms were in very good condition and had plenty of water.

I arrived late in the afternoon and wasn’t feeling well, so the owner gave me several medicines to help. He also helped arrange a great dinner at a good price. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the whole house was beautiful and tidy. You can even park a vehicle inside the property. The rooftop view at sunset was absolutely amazing.

After a stressful trip from Scotland to Egypt, Essam made sure I had everything I needed. The guest house is unbelievable, with a rooftop terrace looking out over Abusir and saqqara. It’s in a very friendly area, and I’d recommend staying here to anyone. Best sunset I’ve ever seen!!!

The hosts are the nicest people, and the location looks out over Abusir. This special place feels like a labor of love, full of positive energy and ancient healing. I highly recommend it!
