The rooftop restaurant has some good options, and the location is handy. The room was comfortable and clean enough for a 3-star hotel. In the bathroom, though, there was only shower gel, with no basic items like a dental kit.

Ahmed and Sahar were especially helpful, professional, and friendly throughout my stay. I was in room 408, which was roomy, clean, and well equipped. The hotel itself is very clean, welcoming, and well kept. I had a great stay in Cairo and recommend it for the warm atmosphere and service.

I booked Panorama Ramses Hotel through Booking.com after seeing the photos and good reviews, but what I found was nothing like them. The pictures didn’t show the hotel’s actual condition, and the reviews gave a misleading impression. My room was tiny, with dirt visible on the bed and around it. The whole place felt filthy, run down, and disgusting. There wasn’t even warm water, and other basic necessities were missing. It didn’t match the listing. This was the worst stay I’ve ever had. I’d tell others not to trust the reviews or photos, and I can’t recommend the hotel to anyone.

The rooftop restaurant and bar are great, and the hotel is close to the main station. Inside, the decor is lovely throughout, and my modern room was clean. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were spotless. I suspect the bad reviews came from before the refurbishment.

On November 1st, my husband and I stayed at Panorama Ramses Hotel and Cafe in Cairo. We found it clean, safe, and very nice, with a reasonable price. It’s near Al-Fath Mosque, International Museum, Cairo Tower, Tahrir Square, Nile River, and shopping centers. Everyone we dealt with was kind, polite, and friendly, including Carlos and the reservations staff, Sahar and Shahed. I’d suggest choosing this hotel for a Cairo trip. Thanks, Sahar from England 💞💞💞
