The room jacuzzi was a letdown, just an inflatable one that runs on electricity. Hot water also disappeared almost as soon as I started showering, and the Wi-Fi hardly worked. The bed was painfully hard, and the hotel had a strong smell of horses throughout. Outside, the street was empty and felt unsafe. We arrived late, so we had to stay the night. Seeing the pyramids from our room was lovely, and getting to them was very convenient. But at breakfast on the terrace, we found a hair in the food. We had reserved three days, but after all that we canceled and moved elsewhere.

For £22, the rooms are perfect, what more could you ask for? The staff were so polite and eager to help. When we ordered delivery, someone helped us communicate with the driver in Arabic, and at the rooftop meal they insisted on clearing our table. The pyramids are about a ten-minute trip away, and the view is amazing. Breakfast was superb too. 💯

The people at the Pyramids homeland made our stay in Giza really nice. I’d definitely recommend the place if you’re planning a visit.

The excellent view during a traditional breakfast, along with the kind and helpful staff and great service, made this a unique stay. Still, the noise never let up. I was in a twin room by myself, the TV was broken, the toilet leaked, and the Wi-Fi was unreliable. The street was a public rubbish dump, animals were being abused in front of the accommodation, and staying there left me feeling like I was contributing to child labor.
