Giza felt like real Egyptian life, without filters, and we loved that experience. We always felt safe, and everyone was extremely friendly. The hotel is in the heart of Giza, though there’s no pyramid view from the property. It’s about an hour’s walk to the Sphinx entrance, or you can take an Uber. The main road is a short walk away, and Uber rides from there are unbelievably cheap. This is a 3-star place, so expect clean, comfortable beds, air con, and plenty of hot water. Breakfast comes to your room. The staff were so welcoming, and their efforts made our stay memorable. If we come back to Cairo, fingers crossed, we’d happily stay again and see Mohammad El Gamal and his lovely family.

I stayed for about five months, and the management and staff all treated me with respect and care. The place is super clean, sophisticated, and relaxing, with modern decor in the middle of the pyramids city. There’s lots nearby, including the old town market, a pharmacy, and a hospital, and it’s a 15-minute walk to the three major pyramids in Egypt. The prices are reasonable too. For a great stay and a tourist map, ask for General Mohammad Jamal. I highly recommend it.
