The staff were lovely, and the food was both healthy and delicious. I also slept on the best mattress I found anywhere in Egypt. The villa sits in a peaceful spot, with beautiful rooms, and works well for visiting the pyramids beyond Giza as well as the ones nearby. I’d happily recommend it. Another nice reason to stay is that the money supports rescuing abused horses.
After years of coming to Cairo and looking for a fairly priced place with comfortable rooms and good food, I finally found somewhere that feels like home away from home. Michelle made sure I felt cared for from the moment I arrived, with thoughtful touches throughout my stay. The room had lovely design, new appliances and furniture, and decorative details. Breakfast was fantastic, and dinner was nourishing too. This is a charming B&B with a strong connection to ancient Egyptian history, and the service was outstanding. I loved being here and can’t wait to return. I’ll recommend it to friends near and far.
The quiet around Villa Scheherazade was such a treat after the bustle of Giza. My room had a fruit bowl and cold drinks waiting, and I fell asleep to real peace and quiet. The gardens and outdoor spaces were beautiful too, with palms, yellow flowers, and plenty of greenery. Michelle arranged a visit to Mena House, where I got sweeping views of the Giza pyramids, and also took me to a local jewelry shop and her animal sanctuary. You can see how much she cares about the community, animals, and environment. Hussein met me at the airport with a sign, then drove me through palm-lined streets and little farms to the villa. It felt like arriving somewhere serene. Michelle was a warm host, and breakfast from chef Essam was delicious. Ali, the butler, was always ready to help with a smile, and his fresh juices were great. The welcome, thoughtful details, service, and location all made this feel like a real home away from home. I’d come back and recommend it to families, groups, and people traveling alone.

The gardens and the villa’s peaceful setting are a big part of its charm. Rooms are magnificent, the chef is excellent, and everyone was friendly and welcoming, with service that felt unmatched. It’s close to the Pyramids of Giza, too. A lovely place to unwind and disconnect after seeing Egypt’s popular sights. I hope I can return soon.
