Pyramids land Hotel

I stayed for 1 month and 15 days, and I’ll definitely come back. The place felt safe and was very clean, the restaurant was wow, and the staff were so kind and helpful. #bilal rabbah, the manager, is a very good person. Thanks to #eslam, meda, abdou, akram, mahamoud, viver, mahamat, and #faouzi too.

The pyramid view is lovely, and breakfast was very good. It’s a clean, renovated hotel with friendly people.

The neighborhood made the stay uncomfortable, despite the property itself being clean. Right outside the window were piles of rubbish, horses, donkeys, and their droppings. There is a pyramid view, as advertised, but the website photos don’t show what the surroundings are really like. The area feels rough and not very tourist-friendly. Breakfast also didn’t resemble the pictures. Staff can seem friendly and helpful at first, but arranging a local taxi or getting a SIM card felt like an overpriced way to take more money from guests. Their kindness seemed driven by profit rather than genuine care. Getting an Uber here was difficult. Drivers struggled to reach the property, and Google Maps sent them through extremely narrow alleys where their cars could be damaged. If you have other accommodation options, I’d strongly suggest choosing one. I don’t recommend this place.

Breakfast is simple, with bread, cheese, feta, egg, and jam, but the mango smoothie was really nice. I tried dinner once and wasn’t impressed, so I preferred eating elsewhere. The best part is the pyramid view: you can see them over breakfast or watch the sunset from there in the evening. It’s also a nice 10 min walk to the pyramids. There was some noise outside, including dogs barking at night and, at times, loud music or people yelling. That’s not the hotel’s fault, but I should’ve brought earplugs.
