We arrived before midnight after a delayed flight, exhausted, and were told to pay far more than the confirmed Booking price, with no valid explanation. After another 15 minutes of waiting, staff took us outside and handed us over to a stranger who said he would bring us to “the same hotel.” He didn’t. We were moved to a much lower quality hotel without the pyramid view we had specifically paid extra for. They said the original hotel was “under maintenance,” but we’d never been told this beforehand. We tried to sort it out despite the late hour and our exhaustion, but staff were completely inflexible and unhelpful. The original hotel WAS NOT UNDER MAINTENANCE, and other guests were staying there. The whole thing felt like a deliberate attempt to mislead and overcharge guests. Handing people over to strangers in the middle of the night is unacceptable and unsafe. We consider it dishonest and exploitative, and will file a complaint with Booking. We strongly do NOT recommend this hotel.

The staff at the restaurant and front desk were extremely friendly and always ready to help. If you need something, the hotel can arrange drivers, tours, and more, which made everything easy and stress-free. The view from the restaurant terrace was breathtaking, and having breakfast while looking straight at the Pyramids was unforgettable. I had a wonderful stay during my visit to the Pyramids and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Giza.

The rooms we had were spacious and comfortable, with excellent air-con, comfortable beds, and good bathrooms. Mahmout went out of his way to help, and the ladies serving breakfast on the rooftop did a great job. Breakfast was excellent, with a pretty good view of the pyramids and sphinx. Dinner choices were limited and expensive, and the neighborhood is shared by hotels and camel and horse stables. The hotel arranged a day tour of Saqqara and Memphis for us, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Rasha the receptionist was very friendly and courteous, always checking that guests were well taken care of. Hani, senior receptionist, had a great sense of humour and was ready to help with excursions and advice. Mahmoud, the rooftop restaurant Captain, was friendly and gave excellent service. The food was delicious and always delivered on time, and the place was very clean. It’s centrally located, close to amenities and attractions right by the Giza Pyramids. Souvenir stores and other shops are an easy walk away. I’d recommend staying here if you’re in Giza to visit the pyramids.

The rooftop terrace breakfast was vegetarian and more than enough for 5 hungry mouths. There was an omelette, soft cheese, sliced tomatoes and cucumber, Egyptian bread, croissants, Egyptian beans (ful), diced fruit, and fruit juice, tea, or coffee. The staff were helpful, and the hotel has 2 & 3 bed rooms. It’s a great location, about a 10min walk to the ticket office for Great Pyramids, and convenient for Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) and Saqqara Step Pryamid. All things considered, it’s clean and good value.
