I stayed here will family in September 2025, and the owner made it extra special. He was very helpful and gave us lots of guidance. The hotel is bang opposite the Giza Necropolis ticket counter, with views of the sphinx and pyramids. Rooms were neat, housekeeping staff super helpful, and breakfast was awesome with something different every day. We also had dinner arranged; the food was simple but homely. Hats off to the chef. There are lots of touts near the entry gate. It’s no safety risk, just a mild irritation. Once you enter the hotel lane, it feels safer and nobody bothers you to buy souvenirs. A great place to stay.

The rooftop sunsets over the pyramids and Sphinx were incredible, and I’ve never had a better view in all my travels. Pyramids Overlook Inn is closer to them than anywhere else I saw in Giza. The owner was also so helpful when Egyptair lost our bags. They arrived two days later at 2:30 am, and he stayed up to collect them from the street while we slept. I’ve stayed in hundreds of places, and this is the best one I’ve found. If it’s available, book it. I wouldn’t trade it for anywhere, even at €1000 a night.

The rooms are clean and hygienic, and the location gets a 10 out of 10 for its views. adel is such a sweetheart, kind and quick to help with any request. The place feels like home, and he makes sure you have a pleasant stay. Please show this lovely homestay some love. I’m sure you’ll have the best time ❤️

It’s a home, not a hotel, and it really does feel like home. The owner is friendly and looks out for your safety, the pyramids and Sphinx are in view, and two cute kittens live there. They’re shy, so you can’t pet them, but you can take pictures. We paid around €50 for two nights.

The room was large, clean, and comfortable, and breakfast was great. You can’t get a closer or better view of the pyramids. The owner and staff were ready to help before, during, and after our stay. I’ve traveled a lot, and this is probably my favorite place I’ve stayed.
