The staff were ready to help with anything, and both breakfast and the hotel were great. It’s a beautiful place, even though it’s simple.

The staff were reasonably friendly, but that was the only good part of a very bad stay. I was traveling with a large male companion; alone or with only girls, I would have been scared by the strange noises and banging in the hallway at night. The rooms were filthy, with dirty beds, floors and walls, plus a mouldy, dirty bathroom. We asked to move and got a room that was only microscopically cleaner. The rooms shown in the photos don’t exist. The pictures seem to be from somewhere else, apart from the terrace, which does match. The building was in pretty terrible shape, though that’s not too surprising for a Cairo hotel at this price. Finding it was difficult too, since Google Maps showed the wrong location. I can’t understand the good reviews and suspect they may be fake. The place was nothing like the pictures and didn’t feel safe. If you can put up with low standards, there are cheaper options on this site that might be cleaner. Here, you’re paying extra for fake photos. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The location and food were just right, and Bassem, Kaseb, and Midu were wonderfully welcoming. Shukran!

The food was excellent, the prices were great, and the staff brought that warm Egyptian hospitality 🙏🏽🫶🏽🙏🏽😎
