Sahara Pyramids Inn

The upstairs restaurant has an excellent pyramid view, and the family who run Sahara Pyramids Inn are ready to help with anything you need. They were extremely accommodating throughout our stay. They arranged an airport pickup, and the driver took charge of the somewhat chaotic crowd right away, then got us safely to the hotel and helped carry in our bags. It’s an excellent family-owned business, and we’ll stay here again when we come back!

I came for the rooftop restaurant and its view of the Giza Pyramids, and had a meal with my friend. He ordered kofta, while I tried the special kofta, Dawood Pasha Kofta. Honestly, mine wasn’t delicious. When staff asked how the food was and gave us a square code card for feedback, we both said it tasted plain and standard. As we were leaving, a waitress politely asked my name, apparently to check my comment here. I’m here, and I’ve said what you deserved. Please don’t ask people’s names next time.

The pyramid views are amazing, from both the room and rooftop, and the hotel is right in front of the Giza pyramids. The rooftop is a real draw, and the location is calm and peaceful. Staff are polite and helpful, the food is fresh, and the restaurant and cafe are eco-friendly. There aren’t many vegetarian choices, but they do serve vegetarian food, and we got a free welcome drink. Kid-friendly meals are available too. There are lots of stores below and around the hotel for souvenirs. The rooms are okay, but could use paint and better upkeep. There are lifts to the rooms, though the hotel isn’t fully wheelchair accessible, especially the rooftop. They accept all currencies and cards. I’d recommend it for the views!

The view is amazing, and the experience was great, with good food and a fantastic pyramid viewpoint. Mostfa & Rabaa are really lovely. Absolutely worth it.
