Coral Beach Resort

It’s quiet and uncrowded, with a pleasant, though not exceptional, beach. The hotel is relatively cheap per night compared with rooms at more expensive places, and it’s friendly and helpful staff aside, you should still tip to get a smile and the best service. The breakfast isn’t good, and mango juice and some special dishes cost extra. I hope the food and general service improve. It may suit people over 50 who want to relax, but I wouldn’t recommend it for couples, friends, or anyone seeking luxury and quality. The location is somewhat isolated, about 35 minutes from Hurghada Marina and 15 minutes from Hurghada Airport.

We appreciated that, after we complained about being placed in a remote section with two small children and long walks to the dining areas, we were moved to a different room. The staff were polite and friendly and tried their best, but their efforts couldn’t make up for the state of the resort. It must once have been beautiful, but it has aged and is poorly maintained in many places. As a family, we didn’t feel comfortable and were sometimes genuinely disgusted. We can’t recommend Coral Beach Resort Hurghada. On arrival, the reception area was a construction site, and the front desk staff seemed overwhelmed and unhelpful. Cleanliness throughout was extremely poor. Some guests behaved disrespectfully toward the facilities and other guests, leaving used diapers on tables and changing diapers during meals. We found this disgusting and disturbing as a family. The food was acceptable, but drinks were very limited. Rooms were spacious but outdated, and the toilet facilities in our room were inadequate, even downright disgusting.

There’s loads of space, it’s very quiet, and there are plenty of sunbeds. Staff in the restaurant, bars, pools, and gardens are very helpful. There’s an adults-only pool and beach area, but the restaurant there is currently being renovated. The daily menu barely changes, and there’s very little fruit choice unless you buy it at breakfast as a smoothie. That’s a shame because the smoothie selection is amazing.

The food was tasty and good, and the staff were amazing. Rooms are huge and have Wi-Fi, AC, a TV with an HDMI cable, and a terrace. There are lots of corals in the SECOND reef. The reception setup isn’t good. The main reception is being used as a restaurant during renovations, and the reception is in a random back room. The hotel is amazing otherwise!! I came with my son.
