Fort Arabesque The Villas

The gardens were a real highlight, green, colorful, and very well maintained. I stayed here with my parents in mid-May, and the staff were always polite and helpful. We had a good stay, and thanks to all the hotel staff. The sea was much too cold for us, so May may not be the right time if you don’t like cold water. Much of the entry is rocky and coral-filled, which is good for snorkeling but not so fun for swimming. They’ve made safe sandy paths through to wider sandy areas in the sea. Lifeguards kept watch and warned people when they got close to the corals where the water wasn’t deep enough. We couldn’t enjoy the sea very much.

The beach setup and location are excellent. This is a spacious, well-kept resort, full of greenery and varied architecture, with a layout that suits all kinds of guests. People were generally considerate, and everything was clean and in good shape. Our family room was well placed and perfectly fine. When anything came up, staff dealt with it right away. An experienced Turkish team manages the hotel, and their professionalism shows in how things are organized. Service could be uneven at times, but the staff were always friendly and clearly doing their best. There’s a good range of food for different tastes. It isn’t gourmet, but it’s absolutely acceptable, especially given that they cater to lots of people and German guests’ preference for milder seasoning. We’d gladly return and recommend the resort. The one downside was the beach activity staff being a bit too pushy with their offers. Aside from that, everything was top-notch.

Snorkeling on the house reef was amazing. Just off the beach, there’s an incredible variety of fish and colorful corals. Special greetings to the lifeguards, who were lovely to talk with and gave us advice on staying safe. The beach bar dinners were another favorite, with delicious barbecue, and the Greek restaurant was great too. Both had good food and drinks and excellent service. fort arabesque is beautifully designed and well maintained, with lovely gardens, pools, bars, and restaurants. Everything was perfect. The staff were attentive, kind, and funny, from reception and the animation team to the restaurants, bars, housekeeping, and everyone else we met. The only disappointment was the hotel taxi we hired to take us to the airport. The driver used his phone while driving to translate, then pressured us for a tip at the airport, saying things like “usually they tip me 15eur but it depends on your integrity.” We found it very rude and scam-like. Smoking is very common there, but I think the outdoor restaurants should have non-smoking areas.

The waiters deserve a special thank you. They were super friendly, very funny, and made every meal enjoyable. The food was delicious, too. The animation team kept us in a great mood with fun entertainment and amazing fitness classes. We had a wonderful stay at Fort Arabesque. Everyone was kind and professional, from the helpful reception team to the luggage staff, and they all made us feel welcome. Thanks to the whole team for an unforgettable experience.
