Talal was the star of the hotel, so generous, caring, funny, and always ready to help. The restaurants were fantastic, and the food was delicious. Everything was clean and beautifully looked after, and the beach was stunning. The layout worked perfectly for adults and kids alike. I had an amazing stay and highly recommend it.

The staff were kind and polite all around the hotel, from the pool and restaurants to the bars and housekeeping. Our family was very happy with the stay and wants to come back. There was lots of good food and a range of restaurants, with friendly staff at each one. I especially want to praise Alli Kamel, the waiter at the bar between reception and the main pool area. He was so polite, kind, and friendly with the kids, and they loved him.

The coral reef was breathtaking, and the staff's warmth and professionalism made our family holiday at Grand Waterworld Makadi memorable. We had trouble with our first room and changed rooms three times. It took effort, but the team quickly offered alternatives each time, and the final room was perfect. I hope future guests can be placed in the right room from the start, which would save time and energy. We appreciated the team's responsiveness and positive attitude throughout. Daniela from Customer Relations checked in regularly, anticipated what we needed, and helped beyond her role to make the stay convenient and enjoyable. Mr. Ramadan, Mr. Ismail, and the whole front desk team gave us a warm welcome. Mr. Mohamed on the night shift resolved a major room problem after midnight; his quick, effective response turned things around and let us enjoy the rest of the holiday. At the main restaurant, Chef Sameh paid special attention to our children's needs at dinner, and Chef Eid made breakfast delicious and welcoming each morning. The Italian restaurant stood out for its service and atmosphere. Many thanks to Manager Mr. Khalil Hassan and his team, Mr. Mahmoud Adel and Mr. Reda Masarios, as well as the Housekeeping and WaterSliders teams. Some restaurant staff and the management style need adjustment, and the beach team's behavior could be more professional. These weren't major disadvantages.
