The service stood out. I hadn’t asked, but the kitchen staff opened up late in the evening so I could get dinner. The property itself is beautiful and well away from the bustle of downtown Luxor and the East Bank. That distance may suit you or not, depending on what you want, but I slept really well there.

The fish tajine was one of our favorite meals in Egypt, and we also loved the other local food. We spent the hot afternoons cooling off in the pool, away from the busy East Bank. From the time we arrived, Mohammed made us feel at home. Thanks to him and the whole team for such a memorable stay at Elphardous Oasis Hotel. We’d absolutely recommend it.

The pool really does feel like an oasis. We felt welcome throughout our stay, and the staff were fantastic with our whole group, always willing to go out of their way to help. It was a lovely break from the bustle of Giza. I’d recommend spending some time at Elphardous Oasis Hotel, and just ask any staff member if you need a hand.

I was really happy staying at Elphardous Oasis Hotel. It’s good value, and while it isn’t high tech, the staff are kind and friendly even though their English isn’t very good.

We’ll stay here whenever we’re in Luxor again. The place is stunning, and it’s family owned, run, and designed. During our five nights, our room was clean and the hotel stayed calm and quiet. The food was authentic and delicious, and the staff were attentive, helpful, and very friendly.
