JAZ Aquamarine Hotel

We had a great holiday, and the friendly entertainment crew gave us plenty to join in with. Keeley was especially lovely, stopping to check how we were doing and saying hello every day. There was a small snag with booking the à la carte restaurants, but Michelle and Annabella in guest services helped us get it sorted. We enjoyed the food at every restaurant we tried, and there was lots of choice. The staff were also helpful with allergies, especially Ash in the main restaurant on Blue Marine, who paid close attention to our needs and put us at ease. Michel, who cleaned our room each day, was always cheerful and helpful, and his towel art was brilliant. Our son had kite surfing lessons with Ahmed and Mahmood, who were great, and the rest of that team were friendly while we watched. At the International Dive centre, the team arranged lovely trips with experienced staff and boats. Shams was a very experienced guide who clearly respected the wildlife, unlike some of the smaller boats. We’d definitely recommend it!

We’ll be back ❤️ The staff were so attentive at the pool and beach, as well as in the restaurant and bar. The entertainment team really went above and beyond. Keleigh deserves a special mention: we saw her every day, always smiling and stopping for a hello. She’s a real credit to the team. We’ve made so many lovely memories here.

My son still remembers the kind lifeguard at the children’s pool and the ice cream attendant at the buffet. We felt safe and comfortable the whole time, and were treated respectfully wherever we went. I’ve visited Egypt many times, and this was a particularly comfortable stay for both of us. We were here at the beginning of February, and the hotel was very child-friendly. The staff were kind, attentive and respectful, and the food was excellent. The shop inside the hotel could be improved: prices seemed high, and we were nearly sold damaged swim wings, with the explanation that they were imported from Germany. As German, that left me a little offended 😂. It didn’t spoil the holiday, though. Egypt has noticeably improved compared with 10 years ago, and the positive changes are clear. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

The food caters to all sorts of tastes, and the staff are so friendly and willing to help. Our room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and it was cleaned each day with fresh towels. A robe and slippers were provided too. There are 22 pools, water slides, and heated pools for the colder season. We had a wonderful time here and wouldn’t hesitate to give it a try.
