Sea Star Beau Rivage Hotel

I had no trouble during my vacation, and the hotel was worth every penny. The room was clean and the housekeeper did a good job. I liked the restaurant too, with plenty of different foods that tasted good. Common areas were clean, staff were polite and helpful, and I thought the animation team was professional at everything. Thanks for everything.

The main restaurant was fabulous, with a huge choice of bread, grains, legumes, meat, fish, salads, sweets, and more. There was something different at every meal each day. Each evening a chef cooked something on an outdoor grill. I don't eat meat, so I didn't try it, sadly, but my companion complimented every dish. The servers and cooks were sweet and happy to chat and help. There are three restaurants: the main buffet, an Italian place, and a seafood restaurant with à la carte service. You can dine at one of those once for free during your stay, though honestly, I wouldn't really recommend it. Special thanks to cashier Mohamed A. Hamid, who helped when we left our bag on the beach and panicked after it wasn't there. We were here for a short, seven-day holiday. The trip there went badly, so at first we were frustrated and skeptical, but by the second day we'd changed our minds. The place is great. The rooms are a little old but pleasant, have what you need, and each has a balcony with a sea view. The beach is nice, and we heard it has one of the best depths in the area. Somehow there were always spare sunbeds. A few things to keep in mind: prices don't seem to change whether you use dollars or euros, somehow, lol. Better to buy an internet SIM, 30 GB for $6, than use hotel wifi. The way into the sea is a bit rocky, so swimming shoes are more comfortable. At the beginning of April there were quite a lot of jellyfish. I don't know if this is just the city or Egypt generally, but there are lots of crows. They didn't bother us, though I can see them being an issue if you're ornithophobic. Swimming hours are 9:00-17:00, and we were told that's a strict rule from the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism. The best thing about the hotel is definitely the personnel. Everyone was sweet, helpful, and happy to exchange courtesies. I definitely recommend it.

My dad and I had a fantastic time. The rooms were clean, the food was great, and the staff were friendly, polite, and helpful. Ahmed at reception, Ali the cashier, the restaurant and entertainment teams, especially Kima and Alaa, and the beach staff were all hardworking and made sure we were happy. The only negative for me is that I wish wifi were free. Thank you.

The staff at the bar and restaurant really go out of their way for you, and the animators are lively, creative, and a lot of fun. My room was clean and everything worked, though the bathroom could do with an update. I’m very happy here, and the hotel is definitely worth its 4.5 stars.
