Sharm El Naga Resort and Diving Center

The house reef is magical, and the beach is lovely. The restaurant is great, but the standout is the fantastic massage shack, run by super manager Kroom and her team. A wonderful hotel with great staff.

We spent our days diving, eating, sleeping and doing it all again. The new base, opened June 2025, is right next door, a 1 minute walk from the restaurant. The reef is a natural reserve and as flamboyant as it gets. If you don’t feel like seeing the same reef every day, ask about day trips to Soma bay or call Orca dive club there. They organise pickups. The rooms are solid and well maintained, all with sea views. There are only a few of them, which helps keep the atmosphere laid back and relaxed. Service is impeccable, and everyone is professional and reliable. We arrived at 2 in the morning because of a problem at Berlin airport, and the manager, maintenance man and dinner were waiting for us. Don’t expect silly obedience, though. Your hosts are a proud crew of individuals, and that’s a good thing. The resort is a charming oldschool assortment of bungalows. Management says it began with tents 30 years ago, and one tent remains for historical reasons. Luckily, the Bay / Reef hasn’t changed much since then. Let’s hope it stays that way now that Aldiana Club is next door. I’d read reviews complaining about construction noise from next door, but that’s all over and done. Aldiana Club’s animation can be a bit noisy, though it ends around 9:30pm. Share el Naga Resort is a good place to relax, eat fresh, delicious food and set off on day trips. It’s also perfect for snorkelers and divers. If you’re travelling with small kids, be aware there’s no animation program at all. The playground is very cute, but it’s in the blazing sun all day until around 5:30pm. The private beach and bay are nice, of course. Thanks to Emad, Abdelrehem and Kazem! We’ll be back.

The calm atmosphere made this feel like a real break from everyday life, and the service added to that peaceful feeling. I loved the clear water and colorful coral, which made snorkeling amazing. The food was tasty and nicely prepared, though the selection felt a little limited. A lovely, relaxing stay.

The snorkeling was a real highlight for my family and me. Just off the shore, we found colorful fish and beautiful coral, and the marine life kept us mesmerized. Sharm El Naga Resort in Hurghada also had a quiet, peaceful setting by the Red Sea. The resort is simple, clean, and well maintained, and the staff were warm and ready to help. We enjoyed the food too, and left with lovely memories. Thanks, and we hope to return soon.
