SUNRISE Crystal Bay Resort - Posh Club

The entertainment team were brilliant, and our room was top tier. We had a great time trying the cocktails, especially the pina colada, and the food and drinks stayed so good throughout the trip. Mangal was really good too. Absolutely love this hotel, perfection from start to finish.

We’ve stayed here several times and have enjoyed every restaurant, though the Indian is our favourite. The drink and cocktail selection is fantastic, and the customer service is fabulous, everyone’s so helpful. I also love joining the entertainment team for darts each morning. We’ll be back again.

We first came to Egypt on this trip, and Sunrise Crystal Bay made such a great impression that we’ll definitely return. A big thank you to the staff for their kindness, energy, and the great entertainment they put on every day. The resort is clean, beautifully maintained, and has a relaxing, luxurious feel. We were warmly welcomed from the start, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful without being pushy. The food was varied and very good, especially at Yades, which we highly recommend. The beach is clean and relaxing, the water is crystal clear, and the pools and activities had everything we wanted. We had an unforgettable stay and highly recommend the hotel.

The gardens are kept up nicely, and the whole place was clean and tidy. Even the shared toilets were always clean. Staff were consistently polite, friendly, and helpful, though it seemed like the bars could have used more staff in the evening. We found the food in both the buffet and a la carte restaurants good quality. Picky children might have trouble finding options, but chips and pasta were always available. We could also prebook a children's meal before going to an a la carte restaurant, which helped. The restaurants we visited were all beautifully decorated. Our room was clean, tidy, and spacious, with an excellent large shower, but the furnishings felt old and due for an update. Drinks, water, and beer were restocked in the fridge daily. An iron in the room would have been nice. Our friendly cleaner made creative towel animals, which our child really appreciated. Evening entertainment was fairly basic. It was fine for adults to have a drink and listen to music, but the children's entertainment didn't hold much interest. The entertainment tent's drinks and atmosphere could improve. The hotel is trying to cater for children, though the different adults-only areas made things feel a bit disjointed, and perhaps the resort would run better for adults only. Our children used the football pitch every day, but the floodlights weren't always switched on, so we had to ask or play in the dark. It would make sense for the lights to come on automatically in the evening. Once they were on, more children joined in. After 8 o'clock there weren't many other options for kids. We had a good stay and would return as adults only.
