Sunrise Sentido Mamlouk Palace

As an architect, I was especially impressed by how carefully the landscaping, environmental design, and cleanliness were handled. I had been a little cautious about the high rating because of the many reviews across different platforms, but after staying here, I can confidently say it even deserves at least a 9.9. The evening entertainment was impressive, the dinner-themed restaurants had great atmosphere and quality, and the heated pools were a real plus for our children. The rooms were always clean and tidy. Mahmoud from the sales department was attentive and professional throughout, and Abdulaziz at the front desk was welcoming, friendly, and solution-oriented. Kareem took care of our needs and supported us in every way, making the stay exceptionally comfortable and enjoyable. We were extremely satisfied and would highly recommend this 5-star hotel. I’d be happy to stay here again.

The aquapark has been our biggest disappointment so far. Our children can’t use the larger slides, which makes sense for safety, but parents can’t go down the slides with small children on their laps either. That makes it hard for families with toddlers to enjoy it together. We were surprised and disappointed, as we’ve been to other family hotels where this is allowed on suitable slides. Our children are technically allowed on the medium slides, but they get stuck. And at the toddler area, so much water comes down from above that our kids and many other families hardly use the small slides. Our family suite is very large, which helps with small children, but it’s quite basic and very noisy. The terrace door is hard to lock properly, and the single beds are extremely hard, making it uncomfortable to sleep. There are many positives too. The grounds are spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained, with buildings in a charming local style. Guests can use many facilities at the neighbouring Garden Resort, which we actually find a bit nicer in some areas. There’s a wide restaurant choice and a dedicated kids’ buffet area, both great for families. The resort is attractive, generous, clean, and has lots of potential, but after our first day the aquapark and room comfort haven’t met our expectations.

The animation team made this stay unforgettable. They brought energy, friendliness, and enthusiasm every day, with activities that were fun and varied for all ages. The evening shows were professional and entertaining, and it was clear they loved what they do. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Everything was well taken care of, and the atmosphere was wonderful. This hotel deserves its 5-star rating. We had a fantastic time and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

We booked several excursions through the hotel, and they were fantastic and convenient. Just keep in mind that hotel excursions cost about twice as much as booking elsewhere. The resort was beautiful and peaceful, and the staff were kind, friendly, and ready to help from the moment we arrived. Traveling with children can be challenging, especially when they take a while to settle in, but ours felt comfortable almost immediately, which meant a lot. The service was excellent, the food had lots of tasty options, and the pools were clean and well maintained. We especially enjoyed the cocktails by the pool as a way to unwind. We had a wonderful stay at Mamlouk Palace and would definitely recommend it for a relaxing family holiday.
