Mercure Ismailia Forsan Island Hotel

The room wasn’t as clean as I expected when I arrived, so I called the help desk. They sent people to take care of it within minutes. I still had a really enjoyable stay at this stunning place with my wife and little daughter, and we loved it. I’m sure I’ll come back with more of my family. Thanks a lot.

My family and I come here every Eid or during the summer and winter holidays. The chalets are very clean, breakfast is good, and room service staff are polite and professional. It’s a beautiful, calming place, and one of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed in. I highly recommend it if you want a change of scenery and a break from city noise.

For 30,000 Egyptian Pounds for two nights, I expected much more. The internet barely worked in the rooms and was only reliable in the hall. There was broken glass left outside my chalet for almost a full day, and the breakfast buffet was poorly managed, with leftover food around, coffee cups mixed in with to-go cups, and tables not cleared properly, especially with sports groups there. The staff’s behavior on arrival was poor and unprofessional. Room supplies were extremely limited: just shampoo and body lotion in liquid dispensers, with no hand soap, hair nets, toothbrush, shaving kit, or slippers. I don’t think that meets Accor’s standard. The service and quality were far below what I expected, and the stay felt like a complete waste of money.

We stayed just one day, but the hospitality felt sincere. The setting is beautiful, with views of ships passing through the Suez canal.
