The father and son who own Fontana Hostel in Luxor were so kind and caring, and made us feel welcome. It’s a calm place with spacious rooms, and the hostel was very clean. We also appreciated being able to use the hotel facilities until evening after checkout while waiting for our night bus to Cairo. We felt at home and comfortable there. Highly recommended.

The owner was kind and helpful throughout my stay. I found the kitchen facilities well maintained and very good for preparing meals, and the bathroom was clean and comfortable. The facilities overall were excellent, and I had a pleasant, satisfying visit.

I felt really comfortable here and would definitely come back. The rooms are sweet and very clean, and the place is totally budget friendly. They can take your clothes to a washing centre, also for a very budget-friendly price. The whole family working there are the kindest people I’ve met in Egypt so far, so helpful and so warm-hearted. They really just want you to have a good time, and I never felt like a “stupid Tourist” 🤣😭. The location is very good, basically in the middle of everything, but tucked around the corner behind the main street, so there’s still some privacy. I absolutely recommend this place if you’re in Luxor!

Mahmud looked after me and gave me great directions. It was my first time here, and the hotel service was very good. If you’d like a hot air balloon ride, you can book it here. I guarantee the pilot you book will be professional and humble.
