The Mesala hostel is nearby, with a much better view, and its owner isn’t a thief. We stayed here, though, and the owner seemed keen to take our money. A taxi to the Valley of the Kings cost 50 euros. My dad doesn’t speak English, so he couldn’t say no.

The rooftop view over the Nile was splendid, and the price was cheap. We spent three nights here in a very nice, clean room with a balcony. The staff were kind and always trying to make things pleasant. They told us where to find a good restaurant and what we could do, while leaving the choice up to us. Go see for yourself what an amazing place it is 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Mohammed, the manager, helped us put together a two-day road trip and checked in with us often. Everyone on staff went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. We loved our time here, and our stay in Luxor was amazing.

It’s hard to leave this lovely corner of paradise. The hotel is peaceful, clean, and well located, and the tasty breakfast each morning gave us energy for sightseeing. Mohamed and his whole team welcomed us so warmly and were very kind. Mohamed helped organize our activities, and his advice and attention to detail made it easy to discover Luxor. We’re leaving with wonderful memories and are sincerely sad to go. Thanks again to him and the team for their professionalism and kindness. We really hope to return one day.
