Beach Safari - Nubian Resort Marsa Alam

We loved the seaside-view room, and the staff were friendly and cooperative. They gave us a free upgrade and let us have lunch and use the facility after check-out. Some areas are a bit outdated, so it may not suit someone after a luxurious resort. But if you want a cozy place with great dive sites nearby, I’d totally recommend it.

The hotel only serves around 100 guests a day, which gives it a friendly atmosphere and makes it easy to get to know the staff and other visitors. The staff were the friendliest I’ve met, and they prepared my room right away even though I arrived three hours before check-in. Breakfast and dinner were both very good, especially the Oriental dinner with grilled duck and kofta. I only had lunch once; it was good, just not as great as dinner. The animation team put on a really nice Oriental party.

The buffet ran out of food after just one hour, and what was there wasn’t fit for normal people to eat. The manager, Latina, told us, “this is not the hilton, adapt to the quality you paid for”. There was no cleanliness and no respect for guests. The food was inedible. It’s a shame, and the hotel should be closed permanently.

I hurt my smallest toe while playing football, which was okay by itself. The way they handled it was the problem. They sent me to a doctor who treated it very poorly, didn’t explain what had happened to my toe, and taped it badly. Then they charged me for the treatment, while also saying he was still in training and didn’t have a work permit. The receptionist said he’d look into it and get back to me, but did nothing and went for lunch. He argued that a broken toe would make my foot swell and kept arguing instead of trying to improve the situation. They seemed to care only that the injury hadn’t happened in the hotel. I felt ignored and completely unsupported the whole time.
