Lahami Bay

I still think about that dive years later. The water was crystal clear, the reefs were full of life, and floating there felt incredibly peaceful. Expert guidance and amazing encounters with marine life made it feel perfect. Some experiences stay with you, and this one still does.

The staff were friendly, the food was wonderful, and they even serve it on the beach. There’s plenty to do, including a diving center, spa, gym, clinic, games halls, and bicycle rentals. The rooms were very clean and room service was excellent. It’s also a calm, comfortable place, with great parties. We had a lovely time and will come back.

I paid a €200 deposit for a week-long liveaboard trip to Daedalus, Rocky, and Zabargad. They cancelled it two months before departure for operational reasons. It’s now been 18 months, and despite many emails and reminders, I still haven’t received my deposit back.

The setting is fantastic, right on the beach and reefs inside the national park, and close to sattaya dolphin reef. The diving center is very expensive, though, and you pay for everything, even water. The hotel staff were unfriendly, almost rude, and I felt ripped off when they charged me 120€ for a one-way trip from Marsa alam. Hilton hotel offered the same trip for 60€! Bring your own water and gear, avoid dealing with the staff, and you can still have a great stay.
