From the sixth floor, the view at El Fanar roof top cafe and restaurant is amazing. You can see both the Nile river and the sea. There’s plenty of variety on the menu, and the food is delicious. The staff were friendly and pleasant, too. If you’re in Ras Elbar, you have to visit Elfanaar. Special thanks to Nevien, Sultan and Ahmed 👏

The rooms were spacious and very clean, and dinner at the roof restaurant was excellent. I was welcomed with a big smile by everyone, which was a lovely surprise. The breakfast buffet had such a huge selection that I couldn’t try it all. There’s an outdoor swimming pool.

The location is great, but the dinner buffet was one of the worst I’ve had at a 5 stars hotel. The main food tasted fine, though the selection wasn’t great. The dessert buffet was awful: the dates and mandarins were rotten, and I couldn’t find a single date that tasted good. I wouldn’t recommend dinner there. Update: The hotel management responded quickly and understood the issue, which is what good management should do. Breakfast today was excellent 👌 Mr. Ahmed and Mr. Samir, who are responsible for the food and beverages section, explained everything clearly and took responsibility. The hotel is bed and breakfast, and dinner had only been arranged for our group. We arrived late, which is why it was disappointing. We really appreciate the response and thank the management. We’ll definitely come again.

The staff were professional, warm, and always willing to help. FARAH and NASHWA deserve a special mention for being so kind and making my stay even better 🥰❤️. The hotel was spotless and comfortable, and I had a wonderful stay. I’ll definitely return and would recommend it to everyone ❤️❤️

I can’t believe this is a steigenberger branch. It’s one of the worst 5 stars hotels I’ve seen. There was a fly in my room, and the hygiene was awful. Hot water was a big problem too. I had to leave the tap running for about 10 minutes just to get warm water. I wouldn’t recommend it unless there’s no other option.
