I hadn’t come with particular expectations, but Shams Safaga turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The grounds are wonderfully green, which matters to me, and the reception and restaurant staff were polite. The gardeners were friendly too. The sea is beautiful and the entry into the water is easy. I was surprised by the gym, which has all the necessary equipment and a workout area. It’s a great place for sports fans. The food changes each day, with different cuisines, and Sundays feature local dishes. Everything was delicious, and it’s easy to put together a balanced, healthy meal. There’s a kitesurfing station on the hotel grounds, so you don’t need to go elsewhere. Many guests come specifically for it and return again and again. It’s an excellent spot for a calm, relaxing holiday, and I’ll definitely come back.

The rooms were spotless, the food was great, and the location was perfect. But the real stars were Foxy and Mazen from the Animation Team. They’re hilarious and kind, and treated us like family. We haven’t laughed this much in years. Our stay was amazing, and we’re already planning to return next year just to see them again! ❤️🙌

We had the best family vacation ever when we came in December. There was plenty for both adults and kids to do, including discos and a fakir show. The children loved the large playground, slides, swimming pools, and the playroom, where the animator Nada did a wonderful job keeping them busy. The gardens were beautiful, and there’s a clean, lovely beach nearby, with interesting reefs and colorful fish close to shore. The food was fresh and good, the rooms were nice and always clean, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. We had no problems with anything. It’s a really great place!

The resort is lovingly looked after and very well kept. Our room was beautiful, clean, and maintained nicely, and the food was fresh, varied, and excellent. Staff were courteous without being intrusive. The reception team in particular were friendly and helpful with all our questions. We enjoyed the pleasant beach and sea, which were perfect for relaxing. There are lots of activities around the resort, and the dive center is a real highlight for anyone into water sports. We had a wonderful stay at Shams Safaga Resort, would happily return, and wholeheartedly recommend it.

Mazen from the animation team brought so much joy to our holiday, always smiling and laughing. The animation team were phenomenal. At the restaurant, Gamal and Ehab made an effort every day to remember our names and check that everything was going okay. The food had plenty of choice and variety, and the staff were absolutely amazing. We’ll definitely be back next year. Sam, Foxy, Mazen from animation, Gamal, and Ehab really make the hotel worth visiting.
