Ramses Hilton

Ramses Hilton has a beautiful spot facing the Nile river and the Old Egyptian museum. It’s kid and tourist friendly, and security is thorough, with checks at the gate, lobby scanners, and access limited to guests’ room floors. There’s a 24-hour bank in the lobby for anyone needing Egyptian pounds. The beds are comfortable and bathrooms clean. Breakfast has a very nice spread that can cater to foreigners, and there are restaurants inside for dinner. The staff are courteous, helpful, prompt, and responsive around the clock. They do a great job keeping the hotel going. But the property seriously needs an upgrade. Staff maintain the rooms well, though modern amenities are missing. Most rooms lack charging plugs; some have outdated sockets that won’t fit a plug inside a circle or square, and USB points are missing near the bed. Carpets, curtains, doors, and AC all seem very old, as do the bathroom fixtures.

The team made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Check-in and check-out went smoothly, and housekeeping and room service were quick and dependable. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well cared for, a nice place to unwind after a busy day. The hotel is also well placed for getting around and reaching major attractions. Breakfast had plenty of fresh, tasty choices, and the dining space was pleasant and organized. The facilities were well maintained too. I had a great time at Ramesis Hotel and felt it offered good value. I’d happily stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Egypt.

Ramses Hilton replied to emails faster than the other Hilton we stayed at in another Egyptian city during our holiday. The hotel is huge and has lots of tour groups, so check-in can take a long time and the elevator lines get long. I especially want to thank Mr. Ahmed, the night duty manager on the early morning of the 17th. We’d planned to arrive at 10 a.m. on the 16th, but got there at 4 a.m. on the 17th instead. I can’t go into the details, but please pass my thanks on to him.

We spent a week here with our family and found the stay easy and comfortable. The rooms were clean and kept in good shape, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Service was smooth, and the facilities worked as expected. The location made sightseeing convenient, with nearby attractions easy to reach. Meals were good and had a decent range of choices. I’d recommend Ramses as a reliable option for travelers looking for a comfortable, well-located family stay.
