Dreams Vacation Resort - Sharm El Sheikh

The staff were really kind and helpful, and we had a lovely vacation. The food was great, and we enjoyed the facilities around this big hotel. There's also a handy taxi service at the entrance. The prices felt fair, especially when booking through booking.com. We'll definitely come back for another holiday 🙂

The staff were genuinely lovely and accommodating, and the food was OK, though it was the same each day and nothing memorable. Still, I find it really hard to recommend the company after this experience. Our timing may have been unlucky, but the whole hotel was under construction. There was machinery, hammering, paint work, and dust from 6am to 1am every day. Restaurants and water slides were closed. The slides looked like death traps anyway. Outside, construction dust filled the air, and inside the reception area there were paint fumes. We're now in a dispute with the travel agency because the hotel had told them there was no work going on. I'm usually pretty flexible and not much of a complainer, but this Egypt holiday was far below an acceptable standard.

We moved to a different hotel after just one night. The staff were nice, but we'd booked a suite and got a very shabby family room instead. The AC didn't work, and the room was run down. When we complained, they offered another family room that looked just the same.

Snorkelling was lovely, with plenty of beautiful coral and fish to see. The beach area is an easy walk, or there's a pickup bus. We preferred walking down the steps, though there's a lift too. The pools were really nice, with a lifeguard at each one. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a nice bathroom. There were so many food choices at every meal, and it was outstanding. We had an absolutely fabulous time at this friendly resort. The staff were brilliant.
