For under 20€ a night, I got a beautiful room cleaned every day, an on-site pool and cafe, air conditioning, and a nice kitchen. The airport transfer service was amazing and only 15€. The host is a very kind woman, and she cooks all the delicious food at the cafe herself. This is the best hostel I've found in Sharm, where there are only about four or five. You get a resort-like experience for 20€ a night instead of 75-120€, with truly amazing hospitality and the best value I've ever seen. It's a beautiful place. If you go, make sure to hike the holy mountain; local scuba diving is available too. I'll be back!

The only person I spoke with about the problems before being kicked out was the person on WhatsApp, and I wasn't rude. I asked, “Why wouldn’t you fix your guests bad experience? Instead of just letting it be bad and getting a bad review? I don’t understand” after being repeatedly told to leave when I raised the issues. I wasn't trying to take money from anyone. I asked whether there would be compensation or a discount because there was no hot water all evening, night, or morning. It wasn't fixed quickly, and there was nobody to contact until the next day. It's not reasonable to have guests sleep without showering after the beach. I came back from a freezing day at the beach, covered in sand and saltwater, and tried to shower, but there was no hot water. My hair is very long and thick, and takes ages to wash if I want to avoid dreadlocks, so I had to get into bed dirty and was extremely upset. I called several times, but the phone didn't even ring. An hour after I messaged the WhatsApp number, I was told staff are only at the hostel until 4 pm and that he wasn't working then. After I pressed the issue, they said they'd fix it tomorrow and stopped replying. I had already said I would extend my stay, but when I explained I needed to because I was very sick with food poisoning, they still told me to leave. People talked to me through the bathroom door and waited outside to kick me out while I was sick. I left extremely sick with nowhere to go. Being kicked out while ill was the worst service I've had in over two years of full-time travel. Absolutely horrible place. Don't give them your money. Trust the many other one-star reviews.

For two nights in October 2025, we stayed in a spacious apartment at Hermes Hospitality, and we'd especially recommend the ones overlooking the pool. It's a small section within the larger Delta Sharm resort, arranged around a lovely pool and a cozy little bar for coffee, drinks, breakfast, or a sandwich. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Bartender Sabine was cheerful and chatty, and owner Ibrahim's great sense of humor helped us feel at home. Warm regards from Vincent and Eva.

The Wi-Fi was poor, even though we asked many times for it to be fixed. There was a terrible bathroom smell, rust everywhere, and a leaking refrigerator left puddles that nearly made me slip and get hurt. The room was extremely dirty, with dust everywhere and very large cockroaches. We saw five live ones and found 11 dead ones. This is an honest account of what happened, including the finger-sized cockroaches. You can fix these problems, but don't accuse me of lying or call my experience unfair.
