JAZ Neo Sharks Bay

Mina at reception was the standout for us. From the moment we arrived until we left, he was a true gentleman and did everything he could to make our holiday enjoyable. He even arranged a cake for our first anniversary. We had a lovely week. Our room was small and a little tired, though it was cleaned well and the attendant made some fabulous towel displays. Better cleaning products would help the team do their jobs. The entertainment was poor early in the week, then definitely improved after the staff changed.

The animation team kept things lively around the pool, with plenty of fun and exercise each day. Sinem was a bubbly highlight and clearly wanted everyone to have a good time. We also found the restaurant food varied enough, with efficient, attentive staff, and the wine and beer were good and plentiful. The cocktails were a bit strange and could be stronger and more authentic, but that was a minor point for us. Jaz Neo Sharks Bay has a relaxed feel and is a lovely medium-sized hotel. Everyone was helpful and friendly, and the service made it easy to unwind. Our room, 352, was a good size and very clean, though some rooms are dated and being redone. Sitting in the sun on our balcony was lovely. Mohammed from housekeeping did a brilliant job and added personal touches each day. We left him a little towel sculpture and a reward on our last day, and hope he liked it. Mina and Abeer at the front of house looked after us really well. We were happy to leave the team a small tip from time to time, they deserved it. My wife and I would gladly return and recommend the hotel. Thanks for a great week.

The guests we met honestly feel like friends for life now. There was so much to do in Sharm, and the hotel staff were really helpful. I'll miss the morning water aerobics energy with Artem, and Oleh’s amazing dance moves. Huge shout-out to the animation team. 10000% recommend.

The morning could be fairly noisy, with people walking around, which seems to be down to the way the place is laid out. Also, the hotel is quite isolated and you need a bus to get to the beach. Still, that shouldn't put you off visiting. It's a small hotel, but the staff are amazing and so friendly. The restaurant waiters were helpful, and most mornings they brought my cappuccino to the table without me asking. There was lots of good Middle Eastern food to try, alongside the usual meat and veg for Brits abroad. The pool and snack bars were great too, with spot-on service and freshly made pizzas and burgers. A fun week away.
